Jessica writes narrative poems that rhyme. Inspired by mundane things in life, her words give them character and a chance to shine. Jessica’s books, Island Rhyme and Inspired, are not themed with one topic. Rather, they are a sampler of many, set by chapters. She has had poems published with Local Gems Press, Lower Columbia College’s Literary and Visual Arts Magazine-The Salal Review (2025, 2026), The Wahkiakum Eagle’s Poetry Corner (2019, 2022, 2023, 2024), Teacher-Mrs. Ibrahim’s Poetry Pals Web Page, and in a Wig’s for Kids Newsletter.
